Union Hatkalupara Union is located on the south bank of Atrai upazila on the south bank of the Atrai. Its administrative building was in the village of Bandaikhara in present day. Naogaon district was a river port under Bandaikhara thana in 1875. Bandakhara Thana and Manda Thana were then included in the subdivision of Rajshahi. In 1876, they were transferred from Bandaikhara to Thana Naogaon (Dainik Janakanta 13/1/2002). Here is a witness from Kalar The Siddeswari Temple built in the rule of the people of Ballal Sen (1160-1178) is standing. The Bandaikhara side ground is carrying memories of 1971. Today, the Hatkalupara Union maintains its own tradition in various fields including education, culture, religious ceremonies, and sports.
