Hatkalupara Union Digital Center

What is the Union Information and Service Center or the Union Digital Center?

 One of the most unambiguous pledges of the people's leader Sheikh Hasina was the establishment of a knowledge-based society through the implementation of digital Bangladesh. Union Information and Services Center or Union Digital Center is a public service delivery channel. UDC has begun a new era in rural and urban areas for obtaining information and services. With the help of computers and the Internet established at the doorstep of the people, providing information and services on the basis of government, non-governmental and commercial basis.

Who open the Union Information and Service Center (the current name of the Union Digital Center) and when?

In order to implement Digital Bangladesh on November 11, 2010, Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh jointly with UNDP Administrator MS Helen Clark, through video conferencing, all the (4501) union councils established in Union Union Information and Services Center (current name union Digital Center) inaugurated simultaneously.

Where and when is inaugurated at Hatkalpara UISC (now UDC)?

Hatkalupara union is located on the south bank of Atrai on the west of Atrai upazila. Its administrative building in the traditional Bandaikhara village. In 1875, Naogaon district was a river port under Bandaikhara thana. The Bandaikhara thana and the Manda police station were then included in the Rajshahi subdivision. In 1876, he was transferred from Bandaikhara to Thana Naogaon (Daily Janakanthi 13/1/2002). The Siddheswari temple built during the reign of Ballal Sen (1160-1178), standing here today, is still standing as a witness. Bandaikhara mass killing site carrying memories of 1971. Today, the Hatkalpara Union maintains its own tradition in various fields including education, culture, religious ceremonies, sports and so on.

Hatkalupara Union Information and Services Center was inaugurated on 27 September 2010 by the involvement of male entrepreneur Md Aslam Hossain Mridha and women entrepreneur Nazma Khatun.
